Robert Mehmet elected to York College of PA board

YORK, PA (01/04/2011)(readMedia)-- York College of Pennsylvania recently elected Robert Mehmet of Haddonfield to its board of trustees.
Mehmet graduated from York College in 1980 with a bachelor's degree in engineering management. After graduation, he went to work for Philadelphia Sign Company, headquartered in Palmyra, N.J., as an engineer. Mehmet worked his way up through the company ranks and now serves as president and CEO of Philadelphia Sign Company, overseeing the company's day-to-day operations as well as coordinating training programs and assisting in sign branding. Philadelphia Sign Company designs, manufactures and installs signs for many large corporations across the country including Target, PNC Bank, Chase Bank, Citizens Bank, Hertz, and Bank of America. Additionally, Philadelphia Sign Company also manufactures kiosks, bus shelters, canopies and sculptures for various business entities.
Located in southcentral Pennsylvania, York College offers more than 50 baccalaureate majors in professional programs, the sciences and humanities to its 4,600 undergraduate students.
