Robison's Offense Earns Athlete of the Week Honors

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced Abby Robison of Dayton, Ohio, as Women's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week on Sept. 25.

It is the second time this season that a Thunder student-athlete was named athlete of the week and the second time in the sophomore's career that she took home the honor.

The Thunder finished the prior week with a pair of wins with Robison standing out as the main offensive contributor. She finished the week with three goals and two assists for a total of eight points.

Trine began the week with a 4-0 victory over visiting Anderson (Ind.) University. Robison started the game on a tear recording two goals and an assist the first 12 minutes of the contest. She assisted on the first goal after carrying the ball through the defense then did the same a few minutes later for her first goal. She ended the opening salvo by scoring off a corner kick.

The team finished their week with a 4-1 win against Dennison University. Robison assisted on the first goal of the day and then scored the eventual game-winner in the later portion of the first period.
