Rochester Soldier Promoted to Major
SPRINGFIELD, IL (07/06/2017) (readMedia)-- Mark Wheeler, of Rochester, Illinois, assigned to Joint Force Headquarters based in Springfield, Illinois, was promoted to the rank of major, July 5, during a ceremony at Camp Lincoln, Springfield, Illinois.
Wheeler, who has more than 24 years of service, works as a detail inspector general for the Illinois National Guard.
Wheeler was joined by family and friends during the promotion ceremony.
