Rodgers Wins Iowa State Fair's 4-H Steer Show
DES MOINES, IA (08/22/2016)(readMedia)-- Tomi Rodgers of Warren County captured the highly coveted Grand Champion Market Steer banner in the 4-H Market Beef show Wednesday at the 2016 Iowa State Fair.
Reserve Grand Champion Market Steer honors went to Taylor Brinning of Washington County.
Grand Champion Market Heifer honors were awarded to Dalton Shanks of Jasper County.
The Reserve Grand Champion Market Heifer was exhibited by Jacob Koppen of Kossuth County.
Gracie Russell of Union County claimed Third Place Overall Market Steer, and Macy Killmer of Dallas County took home Third Place Overall Market Heifer. Keaton Krieg of Woodbury County received Fourth Place Overall Market Steer and Wyatt Walden of Henry County claimed Fifth Place Overall Market Steer.
