Roger Williams University Offers Three New Eight-Week Accelerated Online Graduate Programs

Digital Forensics, Criminal Justice and Public Administration programs tailored to working adults

BRISTOL, RI (09/02/2011)(readMedia)-- Designed to meet the needs of busy professionals, the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies at Roger Williams University is now offering 8-week accelerated online graduate programs in Criminal Justice, Digital Forensics and Public Administration. The new delivery option is designed for professionals interested in pursuing an advanced course of study while balancing work and personal obligations.

Courses for both Criminal Justice and Public Administration may be taken exclusively in 8-week online components. Criminal Justice students have the option to blend their 8-week online courses with RWU's traditional classroom and 16-week online course curriculum. A 16-week in-class and online hybrid course option is available for Public Administration graduate students. The Digital Forensics graduate certificate program is offered in a completely online learning platform of a choice between 8- or 16-week components.

Roger Williams University effectively blends its online course offerings with traditional classroom components such as course materials, shared class experiences and the guidance of skilled faculty.

The Master of Public Administration at Roger Williams prepares students for careers at all levels of administration in public service. The program is designed for government, healthcare, military and nonprofit professionals interested in building a deeper understanding of U.S. public policy and analysis.

The Master of Science in Criminal Justice offers criminal justice professionals with the enhanced skills and knowledge to become successful administrators, policymakers and workforce managers. This comprehensive program allows exploration of both criminology and justice system management.

The Digital Forensics graduate certificate is offered in a five-course program sequence providing adult learners with a foundational understanding of digital forensic science. Credits accrued in this program may be applied toward RWU's Masters in Criminal Justice program.

Enrollment for the fall semester is taking place now.
