Runyararo Chaora Earns Multiple Academic Honors at Hartwick College
Runyararo Chaora '25 of Harare, Zimbabwe, was recognized for her academic achievements during Honors Convocation held on April 30.
Chaora received the Lynn S. Kanter Memorial Award, established by Dr. Robert J. Kanter '66 to honor a student who demonstrates a commitment to their chosen field, achievement acknowledged by a committee of faculty and staff, and the integration of the liberal arts into their education and life goals.
She was honored with the American Chemical Society Award, which recognizes outstanding work by a senior in chemistry or biochemistry.
Chaora also earned the David A. Diener Mathematics Achievement Award. Established by the Department of Mathematics in honor of Dr. David Diener, professor of mathematics from 1968 to 2000, the award recognizes mathematics majors for excellence in the field.
