Why It Matters:
New York's rural communities face unique challenges and opportunities in supporting older adults. This Summit brings together leaders and professionals to share what is already working and how those approaches can be scaled, adapted, or expanded. The goal is to use a "rural lens" to evaluate ideas, align with the state's forthcoming Master Plan on Aging, identify action items, and define what successful implementation should look like. A report of findings will be published following the Summit.
