SEMO Cybersecurity Student Wins Hackathon
Southeast Missouri State University junior Clayton Williams, a cybersecurity major from St. Louis, earned a $500 prize and consideration for an internship at the Leidos Maritime Domain Awareness Hackathon in St. Louis. Williams teamed with a Saint Louis University computer science student to tackle programming challenges involving maritime geospatial systems, applying skills developed through his coursework. The experience also allowed him to identify a software issue he later incorporated into a SEMO assignment.
