SUNY Canton to Host Open House and Admitted Student Day

CANTON, NY (04/21/2015)(readMedia)-- Prospective SUNY Canton college students and their families will spend a day touring campus, visiting academic departments and speaking with faculty and current students during an open house Saturday, April 25.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. with a meet-and-greet session immediately following. Representatives from financial aid, tutoring, career services, admissions, athletics and student clubs and organizations will be available to speak with attendees.

Students will also learn about academic programs and hear from faculty in their respective majors. Parents and family members will also have the unique opportunity to speak with college administrators at a special question-and-answer panel.

The college will also host the final admitted student day event of the spring Friday, May 1, for those who have been accepted for the fall 2015 semester. The Office of Admissions encourages accepted students to submit their deposits by May 1.
