SUNY Plattsburgh Hosts 22nd Annual PRISM Concert

PLATTSBURGH, NY (09/29/2009)(readMedia)-- As part of Homecoming 2009 the SUNY Plattsburgh Music Department will present the 22nd annual PRISM concert, Friday, Oct.16, at 8 p.m. in E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium, Hawkins Hall.

Audience members are advised to obtain tickets in advance at the Angell College Center desk. General admission is $5, and SUNY Plattsburgh students pay $2. Tickets will be available at the door on the evening of the performance.

PRISM features student ensembles from the college's music program. The concert will include performances by the Jazz Ensemble, Mambo Combo, Symphonic Band, Saxophone Ensemble, Clarinet Choir, College Chorale, Cardinal Singers, Flute Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Sinfonia Chamber Ensemble and a piano duet. The ensembles will perform in a round-robin format from different places around the auditorium.
