Alzheimer's Poetry Workshop. 11 a.m. Room 100, Sibley Hall. Poet Gary Glazner, founder and executive director of the Alzheimer's Poetry Project, facilitates a workshop for caregivers, activities personnel, students and community volunteers to help them gain the skills to share classic poetry with individuals living with Alzheimer's disease. Boogie Woogie Rumble of a Dream Deferred, 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Warren Ballroom, Angell College Center. Performance piece by Arts Integration Specialist Francine Jennings, which challenges participants to identify and analyze images, concepts, and social elements that might destroy their dreams. Langston Hughes' poem, "A Dream Deferred" serves as the stimulus for this piece, which strives to lead audiences to self-reflection through song, spoken word, movement and visual stimuli. Take Back the Night. 6 p.m. Warren Ballrooms, Angell College Center. A nationwide movement to address of sexual assault and abuse. The night will include a speak-out for survivors and their loved ones and performances by local artists. It will conclude with a march through the streets of Plattsburgh.

Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity presents music, food, and games like Ladderball and CanJam to raise money for the Books for Kids program. This family-friendly celebration is open to the community.
