SUNY Potsdam College Council to Meet April 20

College Council Holds Fourth Meeting of 2017-18 Academic Year

POTSDAM, NY (04/19/2018) (readMedia)-- The SUNY Potsdam College Council will hold its fourth meeting of the 2017-18 academic year on Friday, April 20 at 10 a.m. in the Raymond Hall seventh floor boardroom. This meeting is open to the public, and will also be livestreamed online.

College Council Chair June O'Neill will open the meeting, followed by a report from SUNY Potsdam President Kristin Esterberg. There will be a presentation on sexual harassment and Title IX compliance. The Council will consider two resolutions in appreciation of the service of two longtime staff members who recently retired, Vicki Templeton-Cornell and Rick Miller. They will also take up a resolution to name the College's planetarium in honor of Professor Emeritus Frank Revetta. Updates to the Student Code of Conduct will also be considered, as well as changes to the College's parking regulations.

The College Council will hear reports from the Student Government Association, Faculty Senate and the divisions of administration, academic affairs, business affairs, advancement, student affairs and diversity, equity and inclusion.
