SUNY Potsdam College Council to Meet Nov. 17

College Council Holds Second Meeting of 2017-18 Academic Year

POTSDAM, NY (11/10/2017) (readMedia)-- The SUNY Potsdam College Council will hold its second meeting of the 2017-18 academic year on Friday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. in the Raymond Hall seventh floor boardroom. This meeting is open to the public.

College Council Chair June O'Neill will open the meeting, followed by reports from SUNY Potsdam President Kristin Esterberg and Executive Vice President Rick Miller. There will be presentations on the new College Unlimited at SUNY Potsdam (CUSP) early college program, the new North Country Path to Potsdam admissions partnership program with North Country Community College, and an update on the College's strategic plan.

The College Council will discuss updates to the Community Rights and Responsibilities policy and to the campus weapons and firearms policy, as well as two naming resolutions.

There will be reports from the Faculty Senate, the Student Government Association and the Divisions of Academic Affairs, Business Affairs, Advancement, Enrollment Management, Student Affairs and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held on Feb. 9, 2018.
