SUNY Potsdam's Department of Art Offers Annual Auction of Original Works Just in Time for Holiday Season

POTSDAM, NY (11/20/2018) SUNY Potsdam's Department of Art will host its annual Holiday Art Auction on Thursday, Nov. 29, in the Brainerd Hall Foyer. The preview of items begins at 4:30 p.m., with the auction kicking off at 5 p.m.

All are welcome to come and bid on beautiful original artworks by faculty, staff, students and alumni -- perfect for holiday gifts. Choose from paintings, prints, ceramics and jewelry.

All proceeds will go to art students to help defray the cost of supplies, projects and field trips. The Holiday Art Auction is sponsored by the Kappa Pi International Art Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi and the SUNY Potsdam Student Art Association.

SUNY Potsdam's Department of Art offers Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts degree programs in art history, art education, studio art, fine arts and graphic design and new media.
