CANTON, NY (04/22/2014)(readMedia)-- Kyle Sacks (Clifton Park, NY) of the baseball team and Joelle Percy (Black River, NY) of the women's lacrosse team have been named this week's Roos of the Week.

Sacks put up big numbers in a 3-2 week for the Roos going 7-for-11 from the plate (.636). The sophomore had two runs and two RBIs and improved his season batting average from .205 to .291.The baseball team is back in action on Wednesday when it will host Clarkson University for a single game beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Percy posted two goals and four assists as the women's lacrosse team won its six straight contest, 15-5, against SUNY Institute of Technology. The win improved the Roos record to 8-4 on the season. The Black River, NY native leads the team with 26 assists this season.The Roos put their six game win streak on the line Wednesday when they travel to Wells College for a game beginning at 5:00 p.m.
