Saint Joseph's College Inducts Julia Sylvia of Little Compton to National Honor Society

STANDISH, ME (10/18/2011)(readMedia)-- Julia Sylvia of Little Compton, R.I., was recently inducted as a member of the Delta Epsilon Sigma National Honor Society at Saint Joseph's College of Maine. A junior nursing major, she tutors fellow classmates and is a member of Student Nurses Association. Sylvia is on the committee board for Batten Disease Fundraising, assists in blood drives and blood pressure screenings, and is an active fundraiser on campus. She plans to attend graduate school and become a nurse practitioner, and ultimately earn a doctorate in nursing practice.

Saint Joseph's College of Maine is a liberal arts college located on Sebago Lake in Standish, Maine. The college, founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1912, serves an undergraduate enrollment of 1,000 students and offers 40 academic programs on campus.
