Saint Joseph's College Inducts Stephanie Lanoie of Rochester to National Honor Society

STANDISH, ME (10/18/2011)(readMedia)-- Stephanie Lanoie of Rochester, N.H., was recently inducted as a member of the Delta Epsilon Sigma National Honor Society at Saint Joseph's College of Maine. A junior elementary major, she is a member and treasurer of Student Education Association of Maine and a member of the Habitat for Humanity club. She spent her spring break last year volunteering in Kentucky remodeling a house for a low-income family. Lanoie is involved with the Outreach to Teach program, which is a National Education Association program where education majors paint and fix up low-income schools.
Saint Joseph's College of Maine is a liberal arts college located on Sebago Lake in Standish, Maine. The college, founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1912, serves an undergraduate enrollment of 1,000 students and offers 40 academic programs on campus.
