Salado's Rick Akins re-elected to HPU Board of Trustees
BROWNWOOD , TX (12/14/2011)(readMedia)-- Salado attorney Rick Akins was recently re-elected to Howard Payne University's Board of Trustees.
Akins, a 1975 HPU graduate and member of First Baptist Church of Salado, will serve as chairman of the Financial/Support Services Committee. His term begins January 1, 2012.
"Howard Payne University looks forward to the year ahead," said Dr. Bill Ellis, university president. "We are blessed to be led by outstanding individuals such as Rick Akins."
