Sammy Datti of Durham Participates in Natural Resource Inventory Study
KEENE, NH (02/09/2011)(readMedia)-- Keene State College student Sammy Datti of Durham, NH has participated in the creation of the document titled "Natural Resource Inventory Ashuelot River, Keene NH." Datti, who majors in Environmental Studies and Political Science, graduated from Oyster River High School. Datti is captain and member of KSC's volleyball team as well as a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Under the guidance of Dr. William Fleeger, the 2010 Junior/Senior seminar class, looked at the park's condition including plants, wildlife, and water. The natural resource inventory document contains the student's research, which was conducted using surveys and studies to provide information about the Ashuelot River.
Keene State College, a member of the University System of New Hampshire, is New Hampshire's public liberal arts college. KSC offers 35 programs of study as well as individualized majors, service learning, and national and international exchanges. The campus, with 21st-century technology housed in traditional ivy covered brick buildings, is located in the Monadnock Region of southwestern New Hampshire.
