San Diego's Nicci Bermudes named NACC Women's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week

AURORA, IL (10/16/2013)(readMedia)-- Aurora University sophomore forward Nicci Bermudes (San Diego, Calif./University City H.S.) was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week.

Berrmudes netted a hat trick in the Spartans' 3-1 win over Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday, October 12, 2013. She recorded all three goals for AU, with all three coming in the game's first 17 minutes.

On the season, Bermudes leads the AU offense with 12 goals, four being game-winning goals, and 11 assists. AU is currently ranked No. 20 by D3soccer.com with a 10-2 overall record and 6-1 in the NACC.

Next action for the Spartan women's soccer team comes on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 when they travel to Milwaukee School of Engineering. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. in Milwaukee, Wis.
