San Francisco Resident Nora Lalle Wins Outstanding Student Achievement Award at Connecticut College

NEW LONDON, CT (05/22/2013)(readMedia)-- Nora Lalle, a senior at Connecticut College, was awarded the Sociology Department Prize, to a graduating senior who has achieved excellence in the major and who, as a consequence, is inducted into Alpha Kappa Delta, the International Sociology Honor Society. Lalle was presented with the award at the annual Honors & Awards ceremony at Connecticut College on May 8.

Lalle is a 2009 graduate of The Urban School.

At the ceremony, the awards were presented by President Leo I. Higdon, Jr. and Carolyn C. Denard, dean of the college. Cherise A. Harris, associate professor of sociology, gave the keynote address.
