PHILADELPHIA, PA (10/22/2010)(readMedia)-- Sanchita Sen, PharmD, was recently named assistant professor of clinical pharmacy in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administration at University of the Sciences' Philadelphia College of Pharmacy.

Dr. Sen is a graduate of Temple University School of Pharmacy. Upon graduation in 2008, Dr. Sen completed her pharmacy practice residency and specialty residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Sen worked as a pharmacy technician at Abington Memorial Hospital. While completing her residency in 2009, Sen was bitten by the academia bug while serving as a preceptor and guest lecturer at Philadelphia College of Pharmacy.

Dr. Sen is a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and Phi Delta Chi, where she previously held posts as secretary and social chair.
