Schwartz's dissertation is entitled, "Self –Regulation, Motivational Conflict and Values." She is dean of programs and students at Boonton High School, a district she has worked in for the past nine years.

"The doctoral program at College of Saint Elizabeth has been the best educational experience of my life," said Schwartz. "I am very appreciative of the time and dedication that the professors have shown. The quality of education content was superior."

Schwartz also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marine science from Richard Stockton College, and a Master of Arts in Curriculum Instruction from Kean University where she also earned her Supervisory Certificate.

The doctoral program at CSE, which is dedicated to preparing leaders who are committed to social justice and ethical practice, began in August 2007.
