STANDISH, ME (05/02/2011)(readMedia)-- Sarah Gordon of Hallowell, Maine, received the Sociology/Criminal Justice Department Award at Saint Joseph's College in Standish, given for excellence in the field of sociology or criminal justice. She also earned the McAuley Service Leadership Award, given to a student whose commitment and dedication to the Mercy mission and traditions of Saint Joseph's is reflected through acts of community service and leadership. In addition, she earned the Residence Life Award, given to students who have greatly improved the quality of life in the residence halls.
