The news conference will take place against the backdrop of boats forming a flotilla to travel north from Albany to the Tugboat Basin in Waterford for the 19th annual Tugboat Roundup – including the historic fireboat John J. Colorful #SaveTheUrger banners will be deployed along the route, including at the Troy Riverfront Park and the 112th Street Bridge, as the vessels go by.

The League will have a table and continue to collect petition signatures at the Tugboat Roundup in Waterford on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and Jay DiLorenzo will present a "Tug Talk" titled From Workhorse to Flagship: Tug Urger at the Waterford Harbor Visitor Center at 1 Tugboat Alley on Sunday at 11 a.m..
