Schmidts Win Top Banners in Iowa State Fair Chester White Show

DES MOINES, IA (08/19/2013)(readMedia)-- Randy and Becky Schmidt of Williamsburg captured the Champion Boar and Champion Gilt banners at the Chester White Swine Show judged Thursday at the 2013 Iowa State Fair.

Reserve Champion Gilt honors were awarded to Chad Grimm of Keosauqua, while Neil Albertson of Fremont won Reserve Champion Boar honors. The Premier Exhibitor title was awarded to Bradly Hall of Alden.

The Premier Exhibitor award is presented to the exhibitor earning the highest point total in individual breeding classes of competition.

Animals are divided according to farrowing date based on the other animals entered in the competition.
