School leaders discuss student mental health & cultural responsiveness
ALBANY, NY (07/18/2018) (readMedia)-- As school districts prepare for a new mandate to teach mental health in all grades, Long Island school administrators will take part in a two-day workshop focusing on addressing student mental health needs and building culturally responsive classrooms and schools.

WHAT: | Professional learning for educators on student mental health needs and how schools can and must respond to those needs. Day two focuses on bringing cultural and self identity into education. |
