Scott Eldredge Becomes First Staff Member Inducted into LHU Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society

LOCK HAVEN, PA (04/23/2010)(readMedia)-- The Lock Haven University Chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi welcomed new members at its 2010 dinner and induction ceremony on April 20.
Director of Web Development Scott Eldredge of Williamsport became the first LHU staff member to be inducted.
The inductees were greeted by Dr. Keith Miller, President of Lock Haven University. According to Dr. Miller, "These students are the epitome of what Lock Haven University stands for. They exemplify strong academic achievement and a strong sense of service. They remember their communities and share their expertise."
Phi Kappa Phi is the oldest, largest and most selective all -discipline honor society. The society motto is "Let the love of learning rule humanity." The society's mission is to recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 % of juniors are eligible for membership.
The Lock Haven University chapter has been in existence since 1975.
