Scott Krutel Named AMC Baseball Player of the Week
ST. LOUIS, MO (05/02/2013)(readMedia)-- Missouri Baptist University Baseball player Scott Krutel was named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week on Monday after two huge performances last week. Krutel is a senior from Valley Park, Mo., who is majoring in sport management.
The first baseman hit .727 last week in two games, including going 5-6 against Benedictine-Springfield in the quarterfinals of the AMC Tournament on Friday. Krutel hit three doubles and recorded four runs while also driving in two in the 13-8 Spartan victory. He also hit an outstanding 1.182 slugging percentage for the week.
The Missouri Baptist University Department of Athletics supports 25 varsity athletics programs and seven junior varsity sports.
