Sean Perez of Levittown, NY, Recognized for Outstanding Scholarship at SUNY Oneonta

ONEONTA, NY (05/14/2012)(readMedia)-- Sean Perez of Levittown, N.Y., was one of 12 students recognized by the SUNY Oneonta Biology Department faculty at an award ceremony on April 26.

Perez received two awards for his outstanding academic performance as a senior biology major: the 2011-2012 Biology Senior Merit Award and the 2011–2012 Jan Kee Ang Memorial Award. The Jan Kee Ang Memorial Award is presented in memory of SUNY Oneonta faculty member Jan Kee Ang, who is remembered as a superb and dedicated teacher. Following his death in 1975, his colleagues endowed an award to honor outstanding biology majors.
