Senator Mike Gravel to Endorse Sundwall

NIVERVILLE, NY (02/20/2009)(readMedia)-- Former US Senator MIke Gravel will offically endorse Eric Sundwall for his Congressional bid sometime next week. Gravel ran for the Democratic and Libertarian nominations last year in the presidential race. Gravel represented Alaska for two terms, from 1969 to 1981. He is famous for his release of the Pentagon Papers in 1971 to the public record.

Sundwall said; " We're excited about this endorsement. Senator Gravel is considered a freedom fighter by many people. This is a result of my work in the Libertarian Party and the recognition by many former elected officials in the main parties that we are a viable choice."

Sundwall interviewed Gravel on April 1, 2008 on the program Capital Outsider. The offical statement will be released next week.
