Seneca Lake Guardian to Host Teen Environmental Education and Advocacy Workshop

DRESDEN, NY (08/17/2022) (readMedia)-- On Thursday afternoon, Seneca Lake Guardian (SLG) will host an environmental education and advocacy training for a group of local students, aged 12-18. First, they'll take a walk on Seneca Lake and around the Greenidge Generation cryptomine, where SLG will discuss environmental threats to the Finger Lakes and how young people can be environmental advocates. Later, SLG and students will write letters to Governor Hochul calling on her to protect the Finger Lakes.
