Shamokin Native Promoted to Associate Professor at St. Mary's College of Maryland

ST. MARY'S CITY, MD (06/14/2013)(readMedia)-- St. Mary's College of Maryland announces that Lin Young Muilenburg, native of Shamokin, PA, has been reappointed with tenure and promoted to Associate Professor of Educational Studies. Young Muilenburg joined the St. Mary's faculty in 2007. She holds a Ph.D. in instructional design and development from the University of South Alabama. She teaches courses that address instructional technology, teaching methods, classroom management, and educational research. She co-edited the Handbook of Mobile Learning, which was published this year by Routledge.

St. Mary's College of Maryland, designated the Maryland state honors college in 1992, is ranked one of the best public liberal arts schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. More than 2,000 students attend the college, nestled on the St. Mary's River in Southern Maryland.
