Shams DaBaron "Da Homeless Hero" to Host COVID Safety Q&A W/ Dr. Oni Blackstock for Homeless Individuals

NEW YORK, NY (01/19/2022) (readMedia)-- On Thursday, Shams DaBaron aka "Da Homeless Hero" will host Dr. Oni Blackstock, founder and Executive Director of Health Justice, for a virtual conversation and Q&A about COVID-19, vaccines, and Black health. Geared toward people directly impacted by homelessness, Dr. Blackstock will answer questions about vaccines, masks, CDC guidelines, and more.

As Omicron ravages the city, homeless New Yorkers bear the brunt of inequitable access to information and healthcare. This event – hosted by a formerly homeless New Yorker – will provide homeless New Yorkers with direct access to a trusted medical professional who can separate misinformation from science.
