Sierra Ronning of Seguin serving in CLU student government

THOUSAND OAKS, CA (06/16/2011)(readMedia)-- Sierra Ronning of Seguin is Senate Director of the Associated Students of California Lutheran University for the 2011-2012 academic year.

Students elected Ronning, a junior multimedia major, as well as the two other members of the Executive Cabinet. Ronning has been a peer adviser for two years and interned for C-SPAN while studying in Washington, D.C., in spring.

The Executive Cabinet plans and implements activities and programs that educate and entertain students and provide service to the community.

CLU is a selective university located in Thousand Oaks, with Adult Degree Evening Program and graduate centers in Oxnard and Woodland Hills. With an enrollment of 3,900 students, CLU offers 36 undergraduate majors and graduate programs within the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Management and Graduate School of Education. Doctoral degrees in educational leadership, higher education leadership and clinical psychology are also offered.
