Soccer's Day and Morgan Featured on 2025 USC All-Region Team
Juniors Maura Day and Corinne Morgan of the Kutztown University women's soccer team were recognized on the NCAA Division II Atlantic All-Region squads by the United Soccer Coaches (USC).
Day was voted to the First Team as a defender, while Morgan was named a Second Team forward after the duo led a stellar Golden Bears attack in the 2025 campaign.
Day picked up her first recognition from the organization after a historic season that led her to be named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East Division Defensive Player of the Year. The junior midfielder led the conference in assists with 10, tied for the third-highest mark in program history. Day was the engine behind Kutztown's attack, pacing the team as the bridge between the team's strong defense and its potent offense.
Morgan, an All-PSAC First Team striker, led the PSAC in both shots (93) and shots on frame (46), scoring a team-high 13 goals that was the seventh-best mark in program history. The Port Republic, N.J., native was the leader of an offensive attack that was among the top offensive units in the conference.
Both student-athletes were recognized on the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Atlantic Region First Team earlier in the year. Day's recognition marks the fifth straight season a Golden Bear has been recognized with an All-Region honoree from the coaches association, while it is the third straight season KU has had multiple honorees recognized by the organization.
Kutztown is set to return both players for their senior seasons in 2026, as they look to improve on a 13-6-1 record and a deep playoff run from the 2025 campaign.
