Somonauk's Emily Paull named NACC Women's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week

AURORA, IL (10/22/2013)(readMedia)-- Aurora University women's cross country runner Emily Paull (Somonauk, Ill./Somonauk H.S.) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week for the third time this season.

The AU junior finished 18th out of more than 600 runners at the highly competitive Brooks Invitational at University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh in Winneconne, Wis. She set an AU record and personal best time of 22:18.48 in the 6K. Her time is also the top time in the NACC in 2013.

Next action for the Spartan women's cross country team comes on Saturday, November 2 when they compete in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships. Meet time is set for 11:00 a.m. in West Allis, Wis. at Greenfield Park.
