Somonauk's Emily Paull named NACC Women's Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week

AURORA, IL (01/22/2014)(readMedia)-- Aurora University junior Emily Paull (Somonauk, Ill./Somonauk H.S.) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week.

Paull helped AU finish second out of seven teams at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Karl Schlender Invitational. She set an AU record with her time of 5:21.58 in the mile run and was the lead leg on the Spartans 4x400 meter relay that won the event with a time of 4:10.99.

Next action for the Spartan track and field team comes on Friday, January 24 and Saturday, January 25 at the NCAA vs. NAIA Challenge hosted by Olivet Nazarene University. Meet times are set for 5:00 p.m. on Friday and noon on Saturday in Bourbonnais, Ill.
