Sophia Webb Wins UVM Peter Seybolt Award

Sophia Webb won the annual Peter Seybolt Award at the University of Vermont's graduation ceremony on May 17.

This award was initiated after the Department of Asian Languages and Literatures was founded in 2007 and was named for the founder of the department, Professor Peter Seybolt, to commemorate his dedication and contribution to Asian language education. It is given to the top graduating senior who majors in an Asian language based on their academic performances.
