South Elgin's Pete Scaffidi Earns Second Team all-Midwest Conference Honors in Football

The junior quarterback has set three single-season records at Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, IL (11/17/2011)(readMedia)-- Junior quarterback Pete Scaffidi (South Elgin, Ill./South Elgin) earned second team all-Midwest Conference honors, the conference announced Wednesday.

Scaffidi has already set single-season team records with 223 completions, 2,702 passing yards, and 28 touchdown passes. His 149.5 pass efficiency rating and 300.2 passing yards per game rank second in the conference.

The Foresters are currently 3-6 and will finish their season at Concordia University Chicago Saturday at 11:30 a.m. It will be a continuiation of a game that began on September 3 but was postponed in the second quarter due to lightning.
