Southdown Farms Compete in Iowa State Fair Sheep Show

DES MOINES, IA (09/18/2019) (readMedia)-- Willwerth Southdowns of Eagle Grove won Champion Ewe, Reserve Champion Ram and first place Premier Exhibitor honors in the Southdown Sheep Show judged at the 2019 Iowa State Fair.

Lee Donald Olson of New Virginia received Champion Ram honors, along with third place Premier Exhibitor honors.

Held Brothers Southdowns of Aurora, S.D., took Reserve Champion Ewe and second place Premier Exhibitor.

The Premier Exhibitor award is given to the exhibitor who accumulates the most points based on the day's placings.
