Springfield Caregiver Awarded a Pillars of Strength Scholarship to Attend University of Maryland Global Campus

Springfield resident Elisabeth Baugess has been awarded a Pillars of Strength Scholarship to attend University of Maryland Global Campus. The scholarship program, which offers full tuition for a bachelor's or master's degree, was created to help volunteer caregivers, usually spouses, of wounded, ill, or injured military servicemembers.
