SPRINGFIELD, IL (12/14/2016)(readMedia)-- Stacey Walker, of Springfield, Illinois, was promoted to lieutenant colonel Nov. 18 during a ceremony here at Camp Lincoln.

Walker is a native of Craigsville, Virginia and a 1986 graduate of Buffalo Gap High School, in Swoope, Virginia.

Walker has more than 26 years of honorable service, and currently serves as the Supply and Services Branch Chief with the United States Property and Fiscal Office for Illinois. He works for the State of Illinois as his civilian career.
