MARY'S CITY, MD (09/04/2012)(readMedia)-- -On a religious studies tour through the Himalayas in June, Evelyn Brooke who is a native of Bel Alton, Maryland and a senior at St. Mary's College of Maryland, snapped an inspiring photo of a woman in her home in an Indian village. Out of 1,400 entries, Brooke's photo placed among 11 finalists in The Washington Post's 2012 Travel Photo Contest. Brooke is a double major in biology and philosophy.
