State Agencies Emphasize Help Available to Those Struggling Economically in Central New York

ALBANY, NY (12/15/2009)(readMedia)-- Every New Yorker has basic rights: the right to food on their table and a roof over their head; a right to affordable health care and the opportunity to find work.

That's why this holiday season, Governor David A. Paterson has called on state agencies to redouble their efforts to promote programs aimed at helping working families get the food, medicine, housing and employment services they need. The State is working to ensure that every New Yorker, young and old, has easy access to the full range of benefits the State and federal governments provide.
