ALBANY, NY (07/01/2014)(readMedia)-- Seymour W. James, Jr., president of the New York State Bar Association from 2012-13, has been named attorney-in-chief of the Legal Aid Society in New York City. Glenn Lau-Kee, the current president of State Bar Association, today issued this statement:

"I worked closely with Seymour James while he was president of the New York State Bar Association. His leadership ability, good judgment and breadth of experience bode well for the Legal Aid Society. He is an outstanding choice."
