State Commissioner of Housing and Community Renewal to Tour Downtown Plattsburgh

Will Join Mayor Kasprzak to View Establishments that have Received Economic Development Grants

ALBANY, NY (05/15/2009)(readMedia)-- Deborah VanAmerongen, commissioner of the state Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR) will join Mayor Donald M. Kasprzak, city council members and other state and local officials and business leaders for a tour of downtown Plattsburgh to view more than 25 local businesses that have received DHCR.

The tour will begin at 2 pm at the Mayor's office in City Hall. At approximately 3 pm, the tour will reach Irises Café and Wine Bar 20-22 City Hall Place, where refreshments will be served and officials will discuss the revitalization of downtown Plattsburgh and the programs helping to achieve economic development and community renewal goals.
