LEWISBURG, WV (11/23/2009)(readMedia)-- State Fair officials have officially unveiled the 2010 State Fair theme - "Genuine Homegrown Fun." West Virginia artist Matt Landers was once again selected to make the theme come to life. His "Genuine Homegrown Fun" graphic features the multigenerational appeal of the fair with a grandfather and granddaughter tending to their garden. The artwork emphasizes gardening, but also includes elements of livestock, food, fireworks, and entertainment. "Successful marketing begins with exceptional graphics that grasp the emotional side of our product and Matt has done it again!" stated State Fair Manager, Marlene Pierson-Jolliffe. Landers won an International Fair and Expositions Communications award for his 2008 State Fair poster, and the fair was recently notified that the 2009 "Farm Fresh Fun" poster also won a communications award.

The 2010 State Fair is scheduled August 13-21. Visit www.statefairofwv.com for more information.
