State Reinforces Full Time Veterans Counseling Office in Northport

The New York State Division of Veterans' Affairs has reinforced its state veterans counseling office at the Northport VA Medical Center with an additional full time counselor to provide benefits counseling and advocacy for veterans and their families.
Information and assistance in filing for a variety of economic, medical and social benefits available to members of the veteran's community will be provided by State Veterans Counselor Monette Fields and Nathan King at the office in the Northport VA Medical Center.
The counseling office will be open 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday. For information about benefits or an appointment call (631) 266-6702.
