Staunton Middle Schoolers Are Encouraged to Get Active at After-school Intramurals in Gypsy Hill Park Gym

The Staunton Recreation and Parks Department Will Be Hosting Middle School Intramurals at the Gypsy Hill Park Gymnasium on Wednesdays, January Through February

STAUNTON, VA (01/04/2010)(readMedia)-- In an effort to get teens active, the Staunton Recreation and Parks Department is hosting Middle School Intramurals beginning this Wednesday, January 6th @ Gypsy Hill Park Gym. This structured and supervised activity is held on Wednesdays afterschool at the Gypsy Hill Park Gymnasium. All middle schoolers (grades 6-9) are welcome and encouraged to attend. Activites will include kickball, dodgeball, basketball. bowling, skating and wiffle ball and will begin at 4pm and run until 6pm. Regular afterschool open gym will operate on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 4-6pm and is open to all school children.The activities are free. For more information call 540.332.3945.
